Jazz 101
It don’t mean a thing if it ain’t got that swing! Just in time for the always fabulous Al Sears Jazz Festival, Ann Collins’ Jazz 101 will help you better understand jazz performance. Ann is well known throughout the region as a triple threat: she’s a jazz pianist, jazz piano teacher, and a jazz piano clinician. This promises to be a lively, fun, and informative evening. Jazz 101 begins at 7:00pm at the WCI Arts Center. It’s open to the public with a $5 suggested donation to the WCI Arts Center.

Can you believe it’s been two years since the WCI Arts Center bought its building on Macomb’s historic courthouse square? Join us for a celebration of that remarkable day when we submitted the winning bid at a public auction right in front of the building. The Anniversary Party is not open to the general public - it’s an invitation only event. Print a copy of this newsletter to use as your invitation* and please make plans to attend.
